HEAT RESISTANCE
It is necessary to differentiate the heat resistance of the HAFAX boards according to the time of exposure. In case of permanent exposure, the maximum authorized temperature is 50 ° C. In case of short exposure to heat (up to a maximum of 1 hour), the maximum authorized temperature is 90 ° C.
We must inform you that in case of prolonged exposure to a temperature above 50 ° C, cracks may appear on the surface of the board.
In case of installation in which machines that emit thermal radiation are used, we recommend ensuring that there is enough space between the heat source and the melamine surface in order to avoid the accumulation of heat and allow its evacuation.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
HAFAX melamine boards must be transported and stored with great care. They must be stored horizontally, in a place protected from water and without contact with the ground. Otherwise, protection measures against moisture should be taken to prevent swelling of the edges. The ambient temperature must be between 10 ° C and 50 ° C.
